Can’t get enough of matcha green tea? We can't, either!
So here's the secret to making great-tasting matcha lattes, smoothies, cookies, cocktails and much more — Mizuba Tea Company Organic Culinary Matcha.
As a powder, matcha green tea easily incorporates into countless recipes. If you’re looking for a twist on a classic cookie, muffin, cake, ice cream, pudding, oatmeal, smoothie, salad dressing, (practically anything) recipe, infuse it with matcha green tea.
Most culinary matcha you might find on the market is an excuse for lower quality or poorly stored matcha, but you'll find Mizuba's Organic Culinary Matcha is the go-to for fresh, strong, and delicious matcha for all your favorite recipes.
What is the difference between Mizuba's culinary and its ceremonial matcha like its Daily Matcha? Not much!
The Organic Culinary Matcha is from Uji, Japan, shade-grown, and traditionally stone ground just like the Daily Matcha. However, the tencha used to make Mizuba's Organic Culinary Matcha is harvested from leaves a little down the stem. These leaves are stronger, and therefore produce a stronger, yet still smooth flavor, for you to enjoy in whatever you want to add the matcha to. You can still taste the tea through milk for lattes, through flour for cookies, etc.
THE DETAILS
Ingredients: 100% organic pure Japanese matcha green tea
Flavor profile: Full-bodied, well-balanced flavor experience. We found that it exhibits a lush creaminess, which is balanced out by a savory, grassy sweetness.
Pairs especially well with honey, milk and milk alternatives, chocolate, jammy red fruits (strawberry, cherry, raspberry), all citrus, mint, lavender, coconut, anise, ginger, almond, and vanilla flavors.
A note on the word culinary: Most "culinary" matcha you might find on the American market, unfortunately, has been used to designate "low-quality," or even powdered tea that is not truly matcha!
This definitely is not the case with Mizuba matcha, which takes the utmost care to ensure the matcha you receive is the best of the best.
Mizuba Tea Company's Organic Culinary Matcha is exceptionally fresh, and it is sourced, shade-grown & stone-milled to order from organic farms in Uji, Japan. Mizuba matcha is grown solely with natural, organic fertilizers and no agricultural chemicals or pesticides.
Size: 100 grams Bag — (50-75 servings) - Refrigerate

ABOUT MIZUBA TEA COMPANY
In the founders' own words...
Mizuba is built on relationships
We're not about being a business.
We're about you, me, and the cups of tea in between.
We're about direct-trade and transparent sourcing: personally knowing our suppliers & tea farmers. We're about being named as a recognized Uji-cha tea dealer by our farmers via the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce.
We're about giving back to where we came from, with a portion of our profits supporting our relationships in Japan.
We're about the ethos: Mizuba strives to uphold tradition, transparently educate with knowledge directly from our matcha producers, and also provide a deeper understanding of what matcha actually is as a finely crafted tea: how it is cultivated, produced, and enjoyed.
We're about how the love of fine tea creates connectivity, culture, and community from source to cup.
About Quality
We're about purveying the most excellent matcha possible since 2013 - only the teas we choose, drink, and enjoy ourselves.
We're about purely being a single-ingredient, single-origin product.
We're about non-gmo, radiation-free, preservative & heavy metal-free, absolutely pure matcha green tea.
We're about sourcing from our JAS-organic certified farm & our 100-year old family matcha tea manufactory.
We're about committing to the region of Uji–recognized in Japan as the highest quality tea growing region, and as the birthplace of Japanese green tea.
Being able to share this matcha is a complete blessing and a gift, and as such, Mizuba hopes to impart just a taste of the larger, beautiful experience of Uji with you, the drinker. With every sip of Mizuba you take, you help continue to make Uji’s history as vibrant as the color of Matcha itself.
