Chiara Perano Nib + Ink A Modern Calligraphy Sketchbook

Chiara Perano is an illustrator and designer by trade, and a self-taught calligrapher and hand letterer, specializing in modern, whimsical styles. From a love of beauty in nature, the written word and nostalgic lettering Lamplighter London was born in 2012, an outlet for decorative design in ink, which had long been a passion.

The name "Lamplighter" stems from a dearly cherished poetry book by Robert Louis Stevenson, 'A Child's Garden of Verses', a favorite of the family, and close to heart. A romantic nod to Victorian London, when elaborate handwritten notes were a daily occurrence.
