It’s an all-natural beauty filled with select, organic Spanish peanuts grown in Virginia that are carefully and slowly roasted — the secret to crafting such great-tasting, organic peanut butter.

Crafted in very small batches using vintage machinery, Koeze takes extra care to remove the peanut skins, preserving the sweet flavor of the organic Spanish peanuts. 

No preservatives or sugar has ever been necessary in the Koeze family recipe. Not a thing is added to the peanuts except a perfectly balanced amount of salt.

ABOUT THE KOEZE COMPANY

The Koeze Company story began when Sibbele Koeze emigrated to America from the Netherlands in the 1880s. He built upon his Old World commitment to handcrafted, artisanal food, and in 1910 established a thriving produce business in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In 1925, the company began making fine, handcrafted peanut butter, and today it is still using the same equipment and methods to craft Sweet Ella's.

The Koeze Company celebrated its 111th anniversary in 2021.
